Linen in the Liberties invite you to spend a morning with us where we will share our passion for all things flax. This fibre, which has been so important in Ireland’s textile history, is now enjoying a grass roots revival as people are searching for pathways to a more sustainable future.
In this workshop we will talk about the history, demonstrate spinning with flax and you will have the opportunity to contribute to a national project that aims to make a piece of twine stretching from Malin to Mizzen.
